HiCAST is completely different from all previous casting machines. The alloy melting process is based on a completely new and innovative concept.

The alloy is melted and cast directly in a part of the casting ring. Separate melting crucibles are a thing of the past. Similarly, metal casting rings with ring liners to control the expansion of the investment material are dispensed with. This makes it incredibly easy to divest the casting. There is no need for the melting crucible to be glazed, since the specially made crucible is divested together with the casting ring.
