Our platinum and palladium alloys

Our broad and varied portfolio of unique platinum and palladium alloys ensures you finding the right alloys for your creative needs. Our Pt952WRu and Pt600WRu platinum alloys are products we have developed specifically with the exacting requirements of the jewellery processing industry in mind. Their unique properties and the extremely favourable quality-price ratio clearly set these alloys apart from the binary alloys previously available on the market. The alloys are refined with tungsten and ruthenium, allowing them to effortlessly achieve the maximum hardness value in their class. The particularly fine-grained structure also boasts outstanding processing properties. The result: ring blanks supplied with a hardness of approximately 200 HV (annealed) can be processed using tools for gold and silver alloys after the cutting data has been adjusted. Processing is carried out under full cooling.

Equally impressive: our exclusive fine-grained palladium alloys make the perfect cost-effective alternative to all white gold and platinum alloys. In contrast to the usual palladium alloys available on the market, they combine a high degree of hardness with outstanding processing properties and are impressive with their fine-grained structure, excellent ductility and radiant colour.

Properties of our platinum and palladium alloys at a glance:

  • Fine-grain platinum jewellery alloys with a high degree of hardness
  • Extremely good formability and machinability (turning and milling)
  • Suitable for diamond machining
  • Easily polished
  • Well suited to sintering / diffusion bonding processes due to hardness retention
  • Suitable for all settings
  • Suitable for manufacturing clamping rings
